10.90 competitors make ready for 2010 TNT Super Series
Series payouts make it worth the effort!
CANFIELD, ONTARIO (March 21, 2010) There's lots of work going on in race shops in the southern Ontario / western New York area as 10.90 sportsman racers make ready for the 2010 Joe's Transmission TNT Super Series. Going into its fourth full season, the series continues to add value for the racers.
The Niagara, Ontario based Germanizer Nova is getting a makeover. According to car owner Gerry Bartel, Scott Jahren will be doing the driving again this year; and they are going after the championship. "If you've been to one of
these TNT races, you know why we're thrashing," commented Gerry. "This deal pays back strong at every race and just look at the yearend points fund! We would be crazy to miss it!"
Kirk Parry of North Tonawanda, New York is a strong supporter of the TNT Super Series. He and his SLAPSHOT Pinto will be returning to competition in 2010. "This series is alot of fun," said Kirk. "I mean the competitors are second to none. And where else can you find racing this tough without travelling across the country!"
The Noco Energy Corvette driven by Jim Flanigan of Holland, New York is also a long-time TNT participant. Jim made his way to one final in 2009 and will be looking for more of that in 2010.
Ray Martino from Caledonia, Ontario is returning this year after a couple of years off. Ray drove his Mustang to a fourth place finish in the 2007 TNT Super Series. "I just have to get back out there. The competition is awesome and the payouts make it real worthwhile," said Ray.
2008 TNT Super Series champion Ted Barnes of Canfield, Ontario has gone over his Datsun 510 from top to bottom. "We took almost every nut and bolt off the car this winter. That along with a fresh engine, tranny, converter and lots of chassis updates should make the car work better than ever," added Ted.
