At Skyview, JJ had Eric Macchiaroli in first round and won on a break out.  Second round saw JJ leave first with a .020 light to Tommy Ingalls' .030 and with both drivers running very close to each other (6.414 to a 6.416), it was the reaction time that earned JJ the round win.

Next up was Jerry Scaccia.  JJ had a huge starting line advantage cutting the tree down with a .011 to Jerry's .083 and that was all he needed to take another round.

Fourth round saw Charlie Kenopic with a slight starting line advantage (.013 to .018), but Charlie broke out running a took quick 6.395 to JJ's 6.414.

That set JJ up to face Tommy Allen in the final round for the Ironman.  Both drivers missed the tree, JJ with an .048 and Tommy with an .089, but it was JJ taking the win by a mere .008 seconds running 6.461 to Tommy's 6.428.

"I got to thank Dennis O'Brien, Mark Vitez, my girlfriend Nicole Blachura and my mother," said JJ after the win.  "And you know what, the TNT series is a terrific way to stay sharp without all the travelling."

Sponsors on the beautiful 1967 Chevy II include Jason Vitez Racecars, Tim Collins Mortgage Specialist, Citizen's Bank, Phil's Quality Auto Service and Jan Cen Racing Engines.

"We just came to Skyview to have fun and good things happened.  It was nice to win one of these after as many runner-ups as I've had," added JJ.
